South Dakota Society for Human Resource Management
Welcome, and thank you for visiting the South Dakota State SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Council website. If you are not currently a member of one of the 7 local chapters within the state, we encourage you to consider the benefits of networking, services, and programs that local chapters can provide.
The vision of the Council is to be the premier organization in South Dakota for the professional development and advancement of Human Resources. Whether you are a small business owner, a human resource professional, or someone who just wants to know more about what the Council or Chapters can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact any of our members for more information on how we can be of assistance to you.
The mission of the Council is to Lead Human Resources in South Dakota through:
- Human Resource expertise
- Professional support
- Educational opportunities
We encourage your participation in the scheduled events across the state in 2015, and those events are listed on the Meetings and Events tab of the website. Your involvement and input is important to us to ensure the Council and the Chapters within the state are offering the opportunities that are most valuable to all of you.
We look forward to the opportunity to provide resources in advancing the human resources profession within the State. Please do contact any state Council member, or the leadership of one of the 7 local chapters within the state at any time for more information.
